1. About RSA.Irish and acceptance

RSA.Irish (Rural Speed Ambition) is an independent educational project operated by Stanyslav Metlushko and designed to help learners prepare for the Irish Driver Theory Test and learn road-related English. In the project name, “RSA” means Rural Speed Ambition and is not a reference to the Road Safety Authority. RSA.Irish is not the Road Safety Authority (RSA), Prometric, TheoryTest.ie, the Department of Transport, or any government body, and is not endorsed, sponsored or approved by them unless expressly stated in writing by the relevant organisation.

By creating an account where registration is available, or by actively accepting these Terms and continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, version 2026-08-14.3. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms form an electronic agreement. The service may record the version and date/time of acceptance for registered accounts.

2. Educational purpose; no guarantee

The service is provided for education, practice and language learning only. Practice questions, explanations, translations, scores, readiness indicators and mock exams are not official examination questions and are not a substitute for current official rules, legislation, RSA guidance or the official Driver Theory Test service.

Road rules, speed limits, procedures, signs, examination content and official guidance can change. RSA.Irish aims to maintain accurate material but does not warrant that every item is complete, current or error-free. Users should verify important or safety-critical information against current official sources before relying on it.

No score, progress percentage, streak, mock-exam result or other indicator guarantees that a user will pass an official examination, obtain a licence, drive safely or meet any legal requirement.

3. Safety and reliance disclaimer

Do not use the service while driving or in any situation where distraction may create danger. The service is not a navigation system, emergency service, legal advice, professional driving instruction or substitute for qualified instruction.

You remain responsible for your own driving decisions, compliance with law and checking current road signs and conditions. In any conflict between RSA.Irish content and applicable law, an official road sign, a Garda direction, an authorised traffic controller, or current official guidance, the applicable law or official direction prevails.

4. User accounts and acceptable use

When you create an account, you must provide information that is accurate enough for account administration and security. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account unless caused by a security failure attributable to the service operator.

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, scrape or bulk-extract protected content contrary to law or these Terms, impersonate another person, upload unlawful material, or use the service to infringe intellectual-property or other rights.

Accounts may be suspended, frozen, blocked or deleted where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, protection of other users or operation of the service. Where applicable law requires notice or a remedy, those rights are preserved.

5. Intellectual property and third-party rights

Original RSA.Irish software code, original interface design, original explanatory text, original training-question wording, selection and arrangement of original material, and original brand assets are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual-property law. Copyright protection in Ireland generally arises automatically on creation of original works.

RSA.Irish does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks, official legislation, official government publications, official road signs or other material owned by third parties. Any such material remains subject to the rights, licences and terms of its respective owner or source.

The names RSA, Road Safety Authority, TheoryTest.ie, Prometric and related marks belong to their respective owners. References are descriptive and do not imply affiliation. If a rights holder reasonably believes material has been used improperly, contact Freersa.Irish@gmail.com with enough information to identify the material and claimed right.

6. Donations and project support

Support payments made through the external Monobank link are voluntary contributions intended to support operation and improvement of the free project. A contribution is not a fee for access, does not purchase examination success or special treatment, and does not create a right to specific features or continued availability.

Payment processing is performed by the external payment provider. RSA.Irish does not receive or store card credentials through the website. Payment-provider terms and privacy practices apply to the payment transaction. Any mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

7. Availability, changes and termination

The service may be changed, corrected, updated, suspended or discontinued. Features may be added or removed and content may be revised to reflect new rules, technical changes or quality review. Where a change materially affects registered users’ contractual or privacy rights, appropriate notice or renewed consent will be sought where required by law.

We do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage of progress, compatibility with every device, or that third-party links and services will remain available.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RSA.Irish and its operator, Stanyslav Metlushko, are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service, including loss resulting from inaccurate or outdated educational content, third-party services, interrupted availability or loss of locally stored progress.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any clause that would otherwise conflict with mandatory Irish or EU law is to be read down to the minimum extent necessary to comply with that law.

The service is currently offered without a mandatory access fee. Voluntary donations are not treated as payment for a promised examination result or guaranteed service level.

9. Privacy and data protection

RSA.Irish applies the Privacy Policy published with these Terms. Where personal data is collected, users must be given transparent information about the controller, purposes, legal bases, categories of data, recipients, retention, transfers and data-subject rights as applicable under GDPR and Irish data-protection law.

The trainer stores local learning progress and legal-gate state in localStorage on the user’s device. Registered accounts use Supabase authentication and may process name, email, mobile number, language preference, account status, learning progress, mock-exam history, consent records, security logs and related account metadata for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. Contact emails are processed through the user’s email provider and the project mailbox.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction protections available to consumers under Irish or EU law. Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of protections that cannot be waived by contract.

Before bringing a formal claim, users are encouraged to contact Freersa.Irish@gmail.com with a clear description of the issue so that it can be investigated and, where appropriate, corrected.

11. Severability and entire terms

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect and the affected provision is limited or replaced only to the extent necessary to make it lawful. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive it.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Copyright/IP Notice and any clearly incorporated notices form the applicable legal terms for the service, subject always to mandatory law.
